A delegation of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING Company participated in the 124th IATP Conference held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last October, which is the most important global platform that brings together airlines, Aircraft manufacturer , MROs and spare parts suppliers, and it is held twice annually before every (summer/winter). season The IATP aims to facilitate the exchange of spare parts for aircraft in AOG situations, and to coordinate between airlines and MROs to provide technical services at various airports around the world in order to achieve regular operation.
Engineer Hani Salaheldin, Chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING, said that participation in the IATP Conference reflects an ambitious vision to expand the range of services provided and maximize returns through new contracts and agreements that increase the number of customers and provides an exceptional opportunity for MROs to promote their technical capabilities, including EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING, which achieved through its delegation many successes with regard to covering the technical service for EGYPTAIR fleet at outstations or contracting with third party customers.
Engineer Essam Hanafi, Advisor to EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING and Vice Chairman of the IATP Organization, explained that the return from EGYPTAIR’s membership in the IATP is to secure a regular operation for EGYPTAIR aircraft by providing spare parts and AOG maintenance work in outstations and ensuring the operation of aircraft in international airports, whether by providing technical services or maintenance and inspections of aircraft before take-off and upon arrival and signing the necessary maintenance contracts with third party.
