 EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING at MRO Middle East 2021

																		MRO Middle East 2021 Conference and Exhibition, held from 15-16 June 2021, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, witnessed the participation of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING in the exhibition, along with many MROs, airlines, aircraft manufacturers, aircraft spare parts and engines manufacturers. The conference had limited attendance due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
 
Pilot Amr Aboul-Enein, Chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Company, said that the company is keen to participate in such events due to their importance in marketing and the significance of effective participation that results in signing many bilateral agreements and contributes significantly to expanding the scope of services provided to customers.
 
Engineer Hani Salaheldin, Chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING, pointed out that the event is a platform for the aircraft maintenance and overhaul market, which allows attracting many new customers to provide various maintenance services for aircraft, engines and aircraft parts, whether at EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING's domestic and international line maintenance stations or heavy maintenance and aircraft overhaul facilities in Cairo. He added that the company’s delegation, which included Eng. Ahmed Mokhtar,  Chairman Advisor for Business Development, and Eng. Youssef Wahbi, Marketing and Maintenance Contracts Director, held several meetings with representatives of airlines from Africa, Europe and the Middle East in order to sign a number of contracts and memoranda of understanding.
 
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Eng. Mohamed Samir, Strategic Planning Manager, participated in one of the virtual conference sessions, which discussed the MROs strategies and priorities in light of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, in addition to answering questions on the MRO industry through the past 12 months, return of demand, changes in MRO strategies due to the pandemic, and what operators expect from the aftermarket in the upcoming period.. During the session, Samir reviewed the steps taken by EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING during the last period as an example for MRO strategy.
