																		Engineer Ibrahim Fathy Zaky has been appointed as Chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING Company on 29 December 2019, after he had assumed the position of Vice Chairman of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE &ENGINEERING. 
He graduated from Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, 1994.
Fathy joined EGYPTAIR in 1996 as certifying staff engineer till 2004.
In 2004 he became Airbus A330, A340 Chief Engineer, inspector and approved examiner.
In 2004 till 2009 he was appointed as Maintenance inspection and technical support Assistant Manager, and then in 2009 he became Maintenance Control Center Assistant Manager for three years. Later in 2012 he assumed the position of Line Maintenance technical support Manager for one year and in 2013 he was promoted to be Maintenance Control Centre Manager.
For his technical experience, he was selected to be Line Maintenance Director in 2014 till 2017, and then Engine Work Shop Director in 2019.
He occupied the position of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING Vice President in September 2019, and in December 2019 he was appointed as Chairman & CEO.
During his tenure in these positions, the Maintenance Control Center witnessed a significant development in terms of achieving the highest rates of regularity of flight for EGYPTAIR fleet. Line Maintenance Directorate also witnessed providing distinguished technical services to the company's third party clients in Cairo and the domestic and international stations.
He obtained many technical approvals and training courses, the most important of which are is Management course in the American University in Cairo, a course on Strategic Studies and National Security from Nasser Higher Military Academy in addition to his selection for the membership of the Crisis Management Committee of EGYPTAIR Holding Company starting from 2004 until now.
