In the era of H.E. President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, who has always been supporting the development of civil aviation in all its activities, H.E. Minister of Civil Aviation of Egypt Mr. Sherif Fathi has opened the new Line Maintenance building for EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING Company in the presence of Safwat Musallam, Chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Company, Abu Taleb Tawfiq, Chairman& CEO of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING and a number of civil aviation figures in Egypt. The opening ceremony witnessed a tour in the new building, which consists of a main building over an area of 5200 square meters; attached to it spare parts and equipment stores complex over an area of 1800 square meters in addition to GSE complex. In his speech at the opening ceremony, Fathi praised the new achievement, which is a strong link in the chain of civil aviation achievements that aim to promote its various sectors and develop the human factor and infrastructure. Such achievements include the major projects and mainly support the air transportation. "We are keen on keeping up with the international scene and the addition of concrete achievements at the international and regional levels in the light of an accelerated technological revolution that must be recognized; we should leave our mark on this field," Fathi added.
